“Ian completed a thorough survey of our project before the installation started which meant he could give us an accurate cost & estimate timescale. Ian and his team worked to a well planned schedule that worked out perfectly. We were always kept up to date and Ian checked every detail with us to ensure we got things exactly as we wanted. The guys arrived early each day and were very considerate of our neighbours. All of Ians team worked to the same standard and I would recommend them all / use them again for future work. “Ian has refurbished our very tired original 1934 kitchen. Was dreading having this done however it was the least stressy job ever! Ian and his team arrived on time every morning and did what they said they'd do. He was great at communicating his plans and progress and cleaned up after himself at the end of every day. I particularly liked how Ian would discuss the benefits and pitfalls of each stage of the refurb, enabling me to make informed choices about how to proceed. “The job was very well organised, By Ian, from start to finish. Ian was the project manager who organised electricians, plasterers, plumbers, refitting of new kitchen, painters. Any extra resources needed were ordered and collected by Ian the next day. Every problem was discussed with myself and Ian and resolved quickly. The kitchen and other 2 rooms also had a laminate floor fitted to a very high standard. The new kitchen is beautiful and lovely to use and work in.”

“Ian originally fitted our kitchen purchased from Wicked back in March 2020 and we were so impressed with his workmanship, attention to detail and cleanliness that we approached him to fit six internal oak doors for us. He did a brilliant job and we are extremely pleased with the end result, therefore we would highly recommend Ian for any of your joinery requirements. “In 2019 Ian carried out the first work at my property by fitting a new kitchen and I was so impressed with the professional service and high standard of work I received that I have contracted Ian and his team to provide a complete update to every room in my 3 bedroom property. Ian has an excellent work ethic, he is professional and friendly and highly skilled. He has an amazing eye for detail that ensures the final result is of a high standard. The work carried out includes: • Complete re-design and fitting of kitchen and appliances • Radiators throughout whole house including fitting of contemporary radiators • Flooring fitted –laminate and LVT following laying of latex flooring where required • Removal of Conservatory tile flooring replacing with latex and LVT • Internal doors throughout whole house • Skirting boards throughout whole house • Design and fitting of new bannister and handrail • Design bespoke oak wardrobes and fitting • Sliding wardrobes and design of inner storage • New cloakroom toilet and sink • Plastering of ceilings and walls • Fitting of ceiling spotlights and new electricity board • Fixing upstairs floorboards by strengthening joists • Decorating throughout • Fitting external lighting At the start of each project Ian listened to what I wanted to achieve and explained what would be required, this immediately gave me reassurance that a professional job would be undertaken. We would discuss what materials would be needed and Ian provided me with advice and guidance so that I could decide on what should be purchased, this ranged from flooring, radiators, internal doors, bannisters, skirting boards and wardrobes. Ian would then arrange for the materials to be ordered, collected or delivered. This made the whole process so much easier for me as a customer as I didn’t need to worry about sourcing, ordering, collecting or arranging delivery of materials. Ian also arranged for Hippo Bags/Skips to be on site so that I didn’t even have to worry about how I would dispose of the old materials. As a customer this whole process made it stress free. Ian would continuously engage with me when any decisions needed to be made and fully explained the options available to me, for example when I asked for a new radiator to be fitted in a different location or where I wanted certain electrical points to be placed in the new kitchen. Ian project managed each of the works undertaken, arranging relevant different trade persons from his team to attend at the right stage of the work. This ensured that each project was efficiently completed in the best timeframe. Ian’s team of trades people; electrician, plumber; plasterer, tiler and decorator were very friendly and professional and their work being of a high standard. No job was too small or too big and they worked efficiently as a team achieving a high standard complete upgrade of my property. At the end of each day all Ian would always go over what had been achieved and what the plans were for the following day. This engagement with me as a customer was fantastic as I was then fully appraised of the next steps throughout the whole project, enabling me to have minimal disruption to home and work life. My family and friends are now contacting Ian for work having seen the high standard that has been achieved at my property. I would fully recommend Ian and his team for any work that you are looking to get completed.”

“We are currently in our first home and taken on the task of a full house renovation and the kitchen is the first room we wished to tackle. As we both believe this is the heart of every home. Ian first came and met us at home where we had a cup of coffee and discussed our plans. Due to us ordering from an online company it was great that before even signing any agreement, Ian went above and beyond by helping us go through our plans and double checking our measurements. We received the quote and were delighted at the price and what was being offered as Ian brings in his own Electictian, Plumber and Tiler ensuring a smooth kitchen fit and that is what we got. “I purchased a kitchen from Wicks, which Ian installed for us. This involved some structural work, creating a new entrance in a solid wall, moving some stud walls and door ways, replacing the ceiling, significant electrical and plumbing work and re-plastering. Ian did a lot of the work himself or Project Managed his team to do it, ensuring timings were coordinated and trades arrived and delivered their 'bit' at appropriate times. Ian paid a great deal of attention to getting the fit and finish to as high a standard as possible, having an eye for details that transformed our space into a great kitchen. Friends who have visited and commented have all been impressed with the finish and the detail. We felt comfortable giving Ian a key to our property, he always left it tidy at the end of the day and made sure that he told us about what was going to happen next. ”
